Let the Craziness Begin!

Ok, Week 4 is set to begin on Monday. We have been told that we will have about 2200 kids. Wow! We only thought the 875 we had last week was big.
Last week was amazing! I was the church host for FBC Macclenny from Florida. This group of kids were great. They had so much fun and it was contagious because everyone around them seemed to be having fun and laughing right along with them. The leaders, Jeremy and Jennifer, are doing a tremendous job with this group and they will continually be in my thoughts and prayers.
We saw the hand of the Lord at camp this week in a mighty way. We had lots of injuries, (I had a student have to have emergency surgery, he is okay) but God took care of everything. We had a large group of salvations, rededications and calls to vocational ministries this week too!
I never dreamed when I accepted this call that I would be able to be a part of all of this. Not only are the kids that come through here leaving differently, I know that I will never be the same. I have realized that God is so big and I want to make sure that when I leave my camp bubble, that He will still be as big as ever if not a bigger part of my life. I know that there are things that I want to do and be a part of like more missions trips to help the less fortunate and to be able to spread God's word throughout the world. Please be in prayer for me about this.
I cannot wait until I get home so I can tell all of you about all of this experience.
I love you and miss all of you!

Week 3 of 8

Hey all,

We are in Week 3!!! Last week it rained every day! So not fun for the kids and the staff because we hade 300 kids in the gym at one time waiting for the rain to go away. It has been really cool because we have had at least one Louisiana church group each week. I can't wait to see you guys. Hope all is going great and drop me an email every now and then.

Love ya!

Stacy 1-Rec Hill 1

Hey guys, I had some free time between activities and just wanted to update everyone on how I am doing. Well, I have climbed REC Hill (Mountain) twice now. The first time was uneventful but the second time coming down was not so much fun. I have never been the most graceful person and the size 12's came into contact with a tree root and then got tangled with each other and I fell down the hill. I am now sporting some of the most amazing bruises I have ever had. Here is a pic that I hope you can see.

On to other things, I am almost finished decorating my Bible Study room. It looks really tight if I do say so myself. I will have some amazing pics at the end of summer just ask I will be glad to share them with you.

Well gotta go to work now. I am on stage for Tuesday night worship doing a Missions Moment and I have to go memorize my lines. They are long and I have to know them by 2 pm.

Here is a pic from Thursday which has been our only day off as of yet. This is Mandy Crews and Katy Kash. Mandy is from Florida and Katy is from Mississippi. She was on support staff for Centrifuge at Mississippi College last summer.
Love ya and miss ya lots! I better be getting some cards and things soon or you guys are in big trouble.
